CHURCHILL DOWNS - Turn 1 GrandStand & Paddock
The transformation of Churchill Downs between Derby 148 and 150 has been remarkable as they build towards Kentucky Derby 150. The installation of 8’ tall green ornamental fence just scratched the surface. As the project developed and came “down the stretch”, we successfully navigated solution driven fence & gate installations to meet the hard deadline of Kentucky Derby 149.
In 2024, as the race to flip the impressive Paddock for Derby 150, the parking lot also got restructured. As part of this, we demoed 4’ tall ornamental fencing and reconfigured the layout to accommodate more vehicles by adding fencing and a new 18’ slide gate.

409’ of 4’ tall temporary chain link fence panels around the temporary paddock with 6 gates
Demoed 158’ of 4’ ornamental & reinstalled 231’ of 4’ tall fence and 1 - 18’ wide slide gate
